We celebrate music and film through anniversaries: A Hard Day’s Night (1964), Leonard Cohen: Bird On A Wire (1974); and Gustav Holst on the 150 th anniversary of his birth.

A Hard Day’s Night
Over two days in the life of The Beatles the foursome struggle to keep themselves and Paul McCartney’s mischievous grandfather under control while preparing for a live TV performance. The film considered a masterpiece was directed by Richard Lester. We are joined by Pattie Boyd, married to George Harrison during Beatlemania (and later Eric Clapton), who will share her memories of those times, which she published in a New York Times Bestseller.
