A Hard Day’s Night

Special Guests

Join us for this special anniversary screening of the classic Beatles film, A Hard Day’s Night

60th Anniversary

Generously sponsored by: Bull

Boutique Hotel and Restaurants, 105 High St. Burford, OX18 4RG

Richard Lester’s film, now celebrating its 60th anniversary, follows a typical day in the life of the Beatles, as they travel from their hometown of Liverpool to London to perform in a television broadcast. Churned out in just 6 1/2 weeks at the height of Beatlmania, it is still a fresh, exhilarating and playfully entraining experience.

SPECIAL GUESTS: We are pleased to welcome Pattie Boyd, model, photographer, and 1960s icon, who inspired songs by George Harrison and Eric Clapton, both of whom she married, including “Something” and “Wonderful Tonight”. Pattie joins us after the screening of A Hard Day’s Night to share insights from her book Pattie Boyd My Life in Pictures. She will discuss her memories of the fab four with music journalist Kevin Howlett.

After the Q&A Pattie will be presented with a special gift by Cheltenham designer, David Hayward, Silversmith,  kindly sponsored by five times Cheltenham Civic Award winner Thomas Holding Ltd.
