Cheltenham International Film Festival launches new-look Cineyouth programme
Inspiring the next generation of filmmakers and film lovers
Cheltenham International Film Festival (CIFF) has unveiled a bold new look for its CineYouth strand, complete with a trademarked name and vibrant new logo. CineYouth is dedicated to inspiring and engaging young people from diverse backgrounds through film screenings, workshops, and industry-led events.
For 2025, CineYouth will offer a dynamic mix of activities — from showcasing short films by emerging young talent to hosting masterclasses with leading filmmakers, cinematographers, and editors. The programme is designed to give aspiring creatives a platform, develop skills, and spark a lifelong love of cinema.
“CineYouth reflects our commitment to ensuring that the art of film reaches the next generation,” says Festival Director Leslie Sheldon. “We’re proud to make this a key part of the festival, and to give young people the tools and confidence to tell their own stories.”
The new CineYouth logo will feature across all 2025 festival branding and will be revealed publicly this month.
