Having lived with grief and guilt for ten years, Mary and John are elated when Claire, now aged 24, reappears in their lives. But the taciturn 24-year-old has little to say about why she left or where she has been. Mary remains devoted to her daughter, but John grows increasingly convinced that the young woman in their home is an imposter.
BAFTA nominated writer/director Virginia Gilbert’s second feature is an emotional and psychologically penetrating story of a search for the truth that plays out on many levels.
