Do you have a film?
We have been praised for promoting young filmmakers by filmmakers themselves which is testament to our dedication. Every year we choose a selection of features and film shorts as part of our film festival programme from filmmakers who submit their films via FilmFreeway. In 2021, a young local filmmaker submitted a short film to the festival called Roy. The director’s name – Tom Berkeley. In 2022, Tom, along with his fellow director, Ross White, won, both, a BAFTA and an Oscar, for Best Short Film, An Irish Goodbye.
