LORD OF THE FLIES… REVISITED

screening with guests

NEW DATE!

Time flies for the young stars of this British classic.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Peter Brooks’ adaptation of William Golding’s classic novel, we have tracked down some of the cast from the film, who will join us in the venue and online for the screening.

Goldings’s tale of a group of boys who become stranded on a desert island and regress into increasingly savage behaviour is a potent allegory for the dark side of human nature, but how did the experience of working on the film affect it’s young stars? Join us to find out in what promises to be a very revealing post film Q&A with these septuagenarian schoolboys.

“For all that time has changed the way it fits into the world, Lord Of The Flies remains as important today as it was in 1963”
