Cheltenham International Film Festival is now in its fifth year and has attracted much local attention in and around Cheltenham and beyond.  We have previewed and premiered films like The Father with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman and this year we screen the UK premiere of Ken Loach’s farewell film, the Old Oak.  

We have welcomed celebrated names to the town from Dame Judi Dench in 2022 through to Ken Loach and Sir Stephen Frears this year.

But, we are also about education, diversity and the inclusion of the whole community through local activities.  In particular, we have launched CineYouth a programme dedicated to introduce the culture of cinema and the art of filmmaking to young people through schools, working with Cheltenham Education Partnership and Into Film, as well as local charities.
