The hours and days interns work are flexible as is the place where you work – at home or even in the local coffee shop. We cover your expenses including coffee, sandwiches, etc. But we expect you to put in a certain amount of hours and to liaise with the Festival Director or Festival Administrator.
Interns are not paid but will benefit from work experience and we offer festival passes to attend screenings, receptions, parties (depending on the number of hours you work). Everyone is given Festival souvenir merchandise to keep. Students are welcome.
To apply, please send an email to: email@example.com with information about your interest, experience and studies.
If you love film, then we invite you to be involved in an exciting new film festival. We are looking to build a team of volunteers for the 2019 Cheltenham International Film Festival 27th May – 1st June, 2019. Volunteers will work across the board in different departments and capacities – ticketing, guest services, street team, ushering, credentials team, merchandise, special events, hospitality, transportation and many more. Each volunteer plays an important role as part of the collective effort to make the Festival a great occasion for everyone.
The Cheltenham International Film Festival offers high profile branding opportunities for sponsors via digital and print media, social networking, promotional publicity, publications including festival programme and on-site identification, among others, which include brand recognition and advertising on Festival trailers and trailers prior to each screening.
The Festival is also an opportunity for sponsors to entertain and host employees, clients, customers, service providers, the media at festival venues, including the VIP marquee, and to enjoy reserved seating for you and your guests at screenings and other events - parties, receptions and the closing night gala awards dinner. Allow our marketing team to customise a sponsorship package that helps you to meet your corporate, product, brand objectives and, at the same time, support our charitable activities to bring the power and enjoyment of independent cinema and film to audiences across the town, region and county.
To discuss sponsoring the Festival please contact:
The Cheltenham International Film Festival Trust is on a mission to focus global attention on Cheltenham as a centre for film and cinema. Plans are already in progress to add events to our core Festival activities, including a film office to attract film and television production to the town.
The actions and plans of the Trust, a non-profit organisation, are being enacted on behalf of the people of Cheltenham and it could be said the whole region.
We also take seriously our social responsibility and as such operate by a mantra of: “no audience is left behind”. In the event we are extending our Festival and related activities to all areas of the community irrespective of age, gender, nationality, race and/or financial circumstances. But, we cannot do this without your support. We encourage you to share in our efforts by selecting a donation level that is comfortable for you.
